Soccer/Sports Update #2

As I'm sure a lot of you are aware, this is the NBA All-star weekend and I am pretty pumped. Each day (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) there are different events with all of the best players in the league. The main event on Friday was the Rookie vs. Sophomore game, where John Wall was named MVP of the game as he broke the previous record set by Chris Paul with 22 assists (CP3 had 17 in '07). And now today is Saturday, and the main events for tonight are the Dunk Contest, the 3-Point competition, and the Skills Challenge. It is on right now as I'm typing this and I've pretty much been watching all day mostly to see Blake Griffin in the Dunk Contest. If you watch Sportscenter, I'm sure you have seen some of his dunks. Pretty ridiculous. And to finish it off, Sunday is the actual All-star game. It is the Eastern Conference All-stars vs. the Western Conference. Be sure to tune in to TNT at 5pm PST to check out the actual game.

  6. the all-star games are always the best man, especially cause the pressure the players are on is different. now they can play for themselves, for fun and for entertainment! whereas normally they're thinking about their careers

his last dunk woulda been cooler if he did it over the car facing the other way though.
